Troubleshooting
If a fault occurs the "Fault" symbol lights up or
flashes on the LED information panel. The fault
must be rectified for further operation.
Possible malfunctions
n Wrong or defective charging cable is plugged
in.
n Residual current device or circuit breaker has
triggered (only valid for the product variants
with integrated residual current device and cir-
cuit breaker).
n There is an anti-clockwise field of rotation. A
clockwise rotating field is required.
n The connectors are not fully inserted into the
ECU.
To correct the fault, observe the following
sequence
u Terminate the charging process and unplug the
charging cable.
u Check whether the charging cable is suitable.
u Plug the charging cable back in and start the
charging process.
u Reactivate the residual current device or circuit
breaker (only valid for the product variants with
integrated residual current device and circuit
breaker).

The tasks described in this section may only
be carried out by a qualified electrician.
The fault message is displayed in the web interface
under "Dashboard" > "System Status" > "Error(s)".

You can find a document on troubleshoot-
ing on our website under "Service" > "Bro-
chures and infomaterial" > "Documents for
installers". The fault messages, possible
causes and possible solutions are de-
scribed there.
Search for further solutions to the fault message
in the web interface
u Enter the ending "/legacy/doc" in the address
line of the web browser (e.g. 192.168.123.123/
legacy/doc).
u Enter the user name (operator) and password.

u Navigate to "Errors Documentation".
All fault messages are listed in the column "Error
activation message". The respective solutions are
described in the column "Corrective actions".
Several backend systems provide addi-
tional assistance for troubleshooting.
u Document the fault.

Spare parts
If replacement parts are necessary for troubleshoot-
ing, these must first be checked to ensure identical
design.
u Use only original spare parts that are provided
and / or approved by MENNEKES.
