Pressure Multicooker Use Instructions
Do not move the pressure cooker during operation.
Do not move but the pressure cooker when it is under pressure.
Never move the product if it contains hot liquids.
Make sure the lid is closed tightly before operation.
Never touch hot surfaces and only use the dedicated handles for opening and transport.
Never try to open the lid when the pressure cooker is under pressure. Never force the lid to open.
Open the lid only when the pressure has been completely relieved via the pressure valve and the
cooker has cooled down.
Do not use the product if it is empty. Without liquids, the device can be damaged. Always fill the pot
with liquid, at least up to the minimum mark (2 cups).
Do not fill the pot to more than 2/3 of its capacity. When preparing foods whose volume increases
during cooking, such as rice or dehydrated vegetables, do not exceed half the capacity.
Do not use the container on a gas stove or hob.
If cooked food is mushy, gently shake the pressure cooker before opening it to prevent liquids from
splashing out and causing burns.
Before each use check that the valve cover, the pressure valve and the float valve are mounted
correctly and are not damaged.
Never use the pressure cooker to fry food in oil.
When opening the pressure valve, always keep your hands, head and body away from escaping
steam. During cooking, steam jets are released vertically from the centre of the pressure valve. Do
not come into contact with hot steam.
Do not touch the pressure valve when the cooker is in operation. Open the valve only after cooking
to release the pressure. Do not use metal utensils, use only the supplied rice spoon or a wooden
spoon.
Safety devices
The pressure cooker has three safety devices.
Float valve
The float valve controls the pressure inside the pressure cooker. As pressure builds up inside, the
float valve rises, thus blocking the lid. When the float valve blocks the lid, never try to force it to open.
Use the pressure valve to reduce the pressure.
Pin – lid blocking
The pin on the lid determines whether the float valve can rise and block the lid. The float valve is
unlocked, and therefore can rise, only when the lid is correctly closed, and this can be seen based
on its position (Fig. C). When the lid is placed on the main unit with the symbol
in correspondence
with the symbol
, the pin protrudes halfway. By turning the lid counter clockwise towards the clo-
sed position in correspondence with the symbol
, the pin retracts, and the lid is correctly locked.
Pressure valve
The pressure valve is an essential part of safety and is required for cooking under pressure. Before
using the product, make sure that the pressure valve is installed correctly and clean it regularly.
To avoid injury and damage to the device, make sure the pressure valve is not covered or blocked
