Troubleshooting
Error description
Lock does not unlock.
Latchbolt remains in the lock.
Lock unlocks automatically.
Cause
Missing or faulty power
supply.
No +24 V control signal.
Mechanically blocked
– Door leaf or door frame
is twisted or warped
– Latch is jamming
– The hardware screws are
pressing on the lock case
The lock is in programming
mode.
No power supply, power
failure in the event of
motor-driven daytime
release.
A voltage of 24 V is
permanently applied on the
control line.
Mechanically blocked.
Profile cylinder actuated.
Lever handle permanently
actuated (follower).
Door contact is defective or
not connected.
Remedy
The lock must be supplied
with at least 21.6 V DC.
Check that the power
supply unit, fuse and
cable cross-sections are
sufficiently sized and
replace if necessary.
Check control input
(Pin 09/pink).
Check door leaf/frame.
Align or adjust latch striker
correctly.
Check hardware screws,
shorten if necessary.
End programming mode by
operating the key 3 times
(see Chapter 6).
The lock must be supplied
with at least 21.6 V DC.
Check that the power
supply unit, fuse and
cable cross-sections are
sufficiently sized and
replace if necessary.
Operate the lock as locking
cylinder.
Check control signal,
deactivate the daytime
release (see Chapter 7.7).

Remove the key.
Check hardware.
Check door contact or
wiring (see Chapter 4).
