The appliance may not be cleaned with a high pressure water-jet.
5.
Note: The samovar's water tank must be emptied completely and cleaned
at regular intervals to avoid the formation of harmful germs.
The water tank must be de-scaled every 1 - 2 weeks (depending on water
quality and frequency of use).
1.
Fill the water container with water and either de-scaler or vinegar essence,
and very briefly heat up. Allow with the de-scaling mixture some time to have
an effect.
2.
Rinse the container a few times and pour out the de-scaling mixture along
with the dislodged limescale. Leave a fraction of the decalcifying solution to
drain through the tap in order to rid it of any limescale which might be there:
Rinse with fresh water, and likewise let it run through the tap.
3.
The removable parts should not be cleaned in a dishwasher. Please clean the
gold-plated or chrome-plated parts carefully. Use any common detergent.
4.
Do not use solvents or benzine to clean the equipment. Aggressive cleaning
materials, steel-wool soap pads, scouring pads and handwash paste are also
unsuitable.
