Troubleshooting - Mixing Valve
Symptom
Insufficient water
Crossflow, hot water being forced
into cold water pipe, or vice versa,
when mixer is closed
Spout temperature does not
correspond with temperature set
Temperature regulation not possible
Safety stop button on the handle not

Troubleshooting - Showerhead
Symptom
Showerhead drips for an extended
time after use
Poor flow from showerhead
Showerhead "droops" - falls to
lowest position
Possible Cause
– Supply pressure too low
– Filters are dirty
– Screen washer between
handshower and hose dirty
– Check valves dirty or worn
– Handle has not been justified
– Hot water temperature too low
– Thermostatic mixer cartridge dirty
or worn
– Hot and cold supplies are
reversed
– Spring dirty or worn
– Button dirty or worn
– Select stop valve dirty or worn
– Select stop valve dirty or worn
Possible Cause
– Spray channels clogged

– Tension screws should be

Recommended Action
– Check water pressure.
