the brake lever on the left hand side connects the rear brake.
1. Adjust the brake lever: according to the most comfortable angle of brake lever for the user and tighten
it.(See Fig. 12-9)
2. Insert the barrel end of the brake cable into the hole in the brake lever. (See Fig.12-9)
Squeeze the rear brake arms with your hand (See Fig.12-13) until the brake rubbers are up against the
wheel rim. This will enable the inner brake cable wire to be loose. and have enough space for you to easily
slip the barrel end of the brake cable wire into the hole in the brake lever.
Next, pull the brake cable wire through the key hole slot in the front of the brake lever and then remove
your hand. The brake cable cap will automatically spring back into the slotted key hole on the front of the
brake lever assemble.
3. Next, proceed to adjust the hand brakes.
1) Tighten the rear caliper brake nut on the bottom of frame when the clearance between left and right
brake arms and rear wheel are the same.(See Fig.12-10)
2) Push the brake rubber to the PVC rim, keep the same angle for brake rubber with rim, and tighten the
acorn nuts. Left and right brake rubbers are adjusted in the same way.(See Fig.12-11)
