To a ach the SAFIRA Syringe to the SAFIRA Driver; remove protec ve foam cap from
the SAFIRA Driver gear prior to connec ng (see below). Align SAFIRA Syringe with
SAFIRA Driver as shown in Diagram #16. Once aligned, gently press the SAFIRA
Syringe in the SAFIRA Driver. It will be seated correctly when you hear it "click" into
place.

Check Operator Func onality:

Press the infuse func on (green sec on / bu on, furthest from the cable as shown in
Diagram #17) of the SAFIRA Operator to check that the tubing is correctly primed
and SAFIRA System is opera ng as expected.
