CHAPTER 2 - PURPOSES / INTENTIONS

The manufacturer is pleased to make you the new owner of a sweeper .
By observing the instructions provided below, we are certain you will be able to fully appreciate the operating
possibilities offered by the sweeper .
This instructions manual is supplied to instruct and defi ne the purposes and intentions that the machine was
designed for and its safe use, as clearly as possible .
You will also fi nd a list of all of those minor operations required to keep the sweeper in good running order and
safe . Procedures that can easily be carried out by anyone .
Always seek the assistance of specialized staff for unscheduled maintenance.
You will fi nd information on hazards and residual risks, i.e. all of those risks that cannot be eliminated, plus
adequate information on allowed and forbidden uses; instructions on how to commission sweeper's, technical
instructions and allowed performance, instructions on how to operate and its maintenance, instructions on how
to decommission the machine, and dismantle or demolish it .

CHAPTER 3 - PREPARATION (UNPACKING)

Once the external packaging has been removed, take the machine off of its pallet; this operation can be
carried out in two ways:
1) Use a three-pronged hook with a suitable capacity for the weight of the machine (provided on the
CE plate) . Lift the motor hood until it is resting on the steering wheel, all the way open . Screw the
eye-bolt all the way into the threaded hole on the platform by fi rst of all taking the casing off of the
motor (Part . 7 Fig. 4). Hook all of the prongs onto the lifting hooks (all three) marked as A/B/C in
Fig. 1 and using a forklift or bridge crane (with a suitable capacity for the machine), lift it off of the
pallet and very slowly place it on the ground .
THE MACHINE CAN ONLY BE LIFTED WHEN ALL THREE STRAPS ARE HOOKED ONTO
THE RESPECTIVE LIFTING HOOKS.
2) Retrieve the relative ramps for the pallet and put them in position, screwing them on with the
supplied screws, as shown in Fig. 2; remove the pieces of wood that surround the wheels and
disengage the parking brake Fig. 3, pressing it to release the brake lever . It is now possible to
push the machine onto the slide (this must be carried out when no one is stationed in front of the
machine and on a spacious fl at surface)
