SETTING UP THE HEATER
1. Make sure the heater is placed upright on a firm, level, heat-resistant and non-
combustible floor surface. Do not place the heater on a carpet or soft surface that may
block the air inlets/outlets and/or increase the chance of the heater tipping over.
2. Place the appliance at least 3 feet away from any combustible items, such as furniture,
curtains, bedding, clothes, and papers.
3. Do not place the heater next to a shower, bath, swimming pool or other body of water.
Maintain a distance of at least 5 feet to water. Do not use the heater in wet or humid
conditions.
4. Before plugging in the heater, check the ON/OFF switch (5) is in the off-position O.
5. Check the heater's rating plate matches the mains socket voltage. Connect the heater
to the mains power supply.

USING THE HEATER

1. Plug the power cord into a wall socket.
2. Press the ON/OFF switch (5) to the on-position I. Two red lines will appear on the LED
screen.
3. Press the FLAME EFFECT ON/OFF button (8) to turn the flame effect on or off.
NOTE: The flame effect is independent of the heating function. You can turn the flame
effect on without turning the heater on.
4. Press the POWER button (11) to turn the heater on and select the heating level:

5. Press the THERMOSTAT button (10) repeatedly to select the desired room
temperature between 15°C and 32°C. The default setting is 20°C. The heater will stay
on until the room has reached your set temperature. Then the heater will turn on and off
to maintain the room at that level.
NOTE: The heater must be set to a temperature level that is at least a few degrees
higher than the room temperature for the heating function to be activated. If the heater
does not appear to be working, increase the temperature until the heating function
turns on.
6. Press the TIMER button (9) to set the heater to remain on for 1 to 12 hours. If you
select 00 the timer function is off.
NOTE: The time and the temperature will flash on the screen when you are in settings
mode. When the setting is complete, the heater will show the set temperature (steady).
7. To turn the heater off, press the POWER button (11) until - - appears on the

NOTE:
Do not cover the heater or the air inlets/outlets/vents at any time while it is turned on.
There is a risk of fire if the heater is covered.
For safety reasons, this heater is equipped with a tip-over sensor. This sensor
automatically shuts down the heating element if the heater is not in an upright position
while in operation. To resume normal operation, check the heater is cool enough to
handle. Turn it upright again and it will continue to work.
