Cleaning of surfaces
To clean the surfaces, use a cloth with water or water and neutral soap.
ATTENTION!
The use of aggressive detergents or solvents damage the surfaces of the
stove. Before using any detergent, it is advisable to test it on an area that
is not visible or to contact the Authorized Assistance Center to request
advice on the matter.
Cleaning of metal parts
To clean the metal parts of the stove, use a soft cloth moistened with water. Never clean metal parts
with alcohol, solvents, gasoline, acetones or other degreasing substances. In case of use of these
substances, our company declines all responsibility. Any variations in the color of the metal parts may
be due to improper use of the stove.
ATTENTION!
It is necessary to clean the burner daily and the ashtray periodically. The
little or no cleaning in some cases can cause failures in the ignition of the
stove with the consequent damage to it or to the environment (potential
emissions of soot and unburnt). Do not reintroduce the pellet that may be in
the burner that has not burned.
chimney sweep
They are not infrequent at the first cold or with the wind, the fires of the flue due to the
residues that are there. Here are some tips in the unfortunate event that this should
happen:
Immediately block air access to the duct.
•
Annual cleaning of the flue is essential.
•
The ash or soot deposited on the walls of the chimney tubes after long periods of time without cleaning,
solidify creating layers or crusts that, when coming into contact with the heat again, may cause a risk
of fire inside the chimney, for this reason the Mechanical chimney sweeping must be carried out at least
once a year (usually in summer) or when the appliance is not used for long periods of time.
This task must be carried out by a qualified company and which will issue a certification of the work
carried out.
