OPERATION
Adjust the material support to the desired position.
Tighten the height adjustment knob.
To adjust work stop:
Loosen the height adjustment knob.
Raise or lower the work stop to the desired position.
Tighten the height adjustment knob.
NOTE: Make certain the top of the roller or edge of the
work stop is aligned with the top of the miter saw table
to keep the work piece level.
CLOSING THE STAND
Remove the miter saw prior to closing the stand.
Retract the extension rails.
Place the stand in the vertical position (wheels contacting
the ground).
Press down the leg lock levers to fold each leg.
MAINTENANCE
WARNING:
When servicing, use only identical replacement
parts. Use of any other parts may create a hazard
or cause product damage.
WARNING:
Always wear eye protection with side shields
marked to comply with ANSI Z87.1. Failure to do
so could result in objects being thrown into your
eyes resulting in possible serious injury.
GENERAL MAINTENANCE
Avoid using solvents when cleaning plastic parts. Most
plastics are susceptible to damage from various types of
commercial solvents and may be damaged by their use. Use
clean cloths to remove dirt, dust, oil, grease, etc.
WARNING:
Do not at any time let brake fluids, gaso-
line, petroleum-based products, penetrat-
ing oils, etc., come in contact with plastic
parts. Chemicals can damage, weaken or
destroy plastic which may result in serious personal
injury.
When all legs are folded, grasp the handle and tilt the unit
towards you to transport.
TRANSPORTING THE STAND WITH A SAW:
First close the stand as described above.
After closing the stand, grasp the handle and tilt the stand
away from you.
Slowly lower the stand until the handle is resting on the
ground.
Reinstall the miter saw in this position.
With miter saw installed and brackets locked, grasp the
handle and raise from the ground. Then roll the stand to
the desired location.
Remove the miter saw from the stand before unfolding
the legs and putting in a standing position at your desired
location.
Reinstall the miter saw once the stand has been unfolded,
stood up, and all legs are locked in place.
