Setting up the visionPRO video laryngoscope
Charge the video laryngoscope fully before using it for the first time.
Wear gloves when using the video laryngoscope.

Operating the visionPRO video laryngoscope
Following reprocessing, the device may only be reused when it is completely dry.
Check the blade is positioned both correctly and firmly before using the video larnygoscope.
We strongly recommend having a ready-to-use secondary system of laryngoscopes at hand.
Remove the blade from the video laryngoscope only outside the patient environment (at least
1.5 meters from the patient or patient support pursuant to IEC 60601-1, see Fig. 8).
The maximum temperature at the application point at an ambient temperature of 35 °C and in
continuous operation is 41.3 °C.
If the video function fails during intubation, the device can also be used as a direct laryngoscope.
Afterwards, return the unit to HEINE Service.
In the upper display section of the live image, the attached blade can be recognized. This
provides an orientation.
Insert the video laryngoscope into the patient with the attached disposable blade. Use an appropriate
size of blade that suits the patient. Intubate the patient.
After intubation, remove the video laryngoscope from the patient with the disposable blade. Switch
off the device following use. Press and hold the On/Off button until the orange countdown has
elapsed.
Release the fixing clip (8) and remove the disposable blade from the camera arm.
If you do not switch off the video laryngoscope after use, the device will automatically switch off
after 15 minutes. A prompt with a 30-second countdown appears on the display in this regard.
Press the On/Off button if you would like to interrupt the automatic switch-off process.
Should a reset be necessary, it can be reset by pressing the on/off button for a period of 10 seconds.

Insert the display unit (1) into the handle (2) and,

applying slight pressure, twist the components
until it audibly clicks into place.
Remove the disposable blade (6) from the packaging,
slide it completely over the camera arm (5) of the
handle (2) and make sure it clicks into place (you will
hear it 'click').
Make sure that the blade is firmly and securely in
place.
Switch on the device by pressing the
On/Off button (7) briefly.
Adjust the angle of the display (4) as desired.
