Charge the battery before using it for
the first time. Do not briefly recharge
the battery several times in a row.
If the operating time is considerably
shortened despite charging, this
shows that the rechargeable battery is
depleted and must be replaced. Only
use an original battery purchased
from customer service.
Always comply with the latest safety
instructions, as well as the regulations
and information relating to environ-
mental protection.
Defects resulting from improper han-
dling are not covered by the guaran-
tee.

Removing/inserting

the battery

1. Lift the transparent cover (37).
2. To insert the battery (34) into the de-
vice, push the battery along the guide
rail into the device. You will hear it
click into place.
3. To remove the battery (34) from the
device, press the release button (
34a) on the battery and pull the
battery out.

Charge the battery

Allow a freshly discharged bat-
tery to cool down for approx. 15
minutes before charging it with
the battery charger (35).
1. Connect the charger cable to the bat-
tery (34) and insert the charger (35)
mains plug into a socket.
2. Once charging is complete, discon-
nect the charger (35) from the mains
supply then from the battery.

Used batteries

If a fully recharged battery lasts for
considerably shorter operating times,
the battery is used up and needs to
be replaced. Only use an OEM battery
pack replacement available from our
Customer Service.
Always take heed of the applicable
safety instructions as well as the envi-
ronmental protection regulations and
information (see "Waste Disposal and
Environmental Protection").

Adjust front wheels

The lawn mower is extremely flexible and
manoeuvrable thanks to the special con-
struction of the front wheels.
These are to be adjusted according to the
specific situation as follows:
1. The alignment of the wheel is
fixed once the clamping brack-
ets (28) snaps into place. If
the wheel is desired in another
running direction, lift clamp-
ing bracket to release it. Bring
wheel into new position and
clamping brackets snaps into
place once again.
