Brief description of the press device
EN
7.1 Automatic press cycle (Fig. 1)
The press device features positive control. During pressing, the press device remains in the position
reached, even if the start button (1) is temporarily released. When the intended switch-off force is
achieved, it is perceptible by means of an increase in the motor speed and a discernible decrease in
pressure. When the start button (1) is released, the device returns to its initial position. For safety
reasons, the positive control is only activated after a minimum force has been attained. Until this force
is achieved, the pressing operation can be interrupted at any time by releasing the start button (1).
The device then automatically returns to its initial position.

7.2 Release button (Fig. 1)
The pressing operation can be stopped at any time by pressing and holding the release button (5).
The pistons in the press tool then return to their starting position.
This pressing was then not carried out correctly and must be repeated.

7.3 Belt clip (Fig. 1)
The belt clip (6) is fixed with two plastic screws (7). The two plastic screws serve as predetermined
breaking point. In the event of a fall of the press tool, the predetermined breaking point is intended to
prevent dangerous situations.

WARNING!
Risk of injury from fall or similar
Fixing the belt clip (6) with inappropriate screws may cause injury if the press tool is
hooked to the operator when it falls.
Therefore:
Do not replace the two plastic screws (7) with other screws.
Only replace the two plastic screws (7) with original screws from Novopress (order
no.: 17954) should they break.
After a fall, have the press device inspected by a Novopress authorised workshop.
Information!
The batteries are not charged at the factory.
Therefore:
Charge the batteries before using for the first time.
Information!
Limited temperature range for charging and storing the batteries.
Therefore:
It is imperative that the operating instructions for the battery charger are complied
with.
