4 Function

This device is designed to connect a BladeXT to a female pyramid reciever and allows for A-P shift
angular and rotational adjustment.
The A-P shift and rotation prior to tightening the pyramid screws and the alignment nut allows
for alignment of the limb to suit the individual user.
When tightened securely using Loctite and torgue settings shown, the device offers a secure way
to connect two parts of the limb.

5 Maintenance

Visually check the device regularly.
Report any changes in performance of this device to the practitioner/service provider.
Changes in performance may include:
• Instability
• Excessive play or loss of alignment
• Any unusual noise
Inform the practitioner/service provider of any changes in body weight and/or activity level.
Cleaning
Use a damp cloth and mild soap to clean outside surfaces, do not use aggressive cleansers.
The remaining instructions in this section are for practitioner use only.
This maintenance must be carried out only by competent personnel (practitioner or suitable
trained technician).
The following routine visual inspection is to be carried out at least annually:
• Ensure all screws are secure. If not remove and clean screws, reapply Loctite and tighten all
screws to the correct torque settings.
• Check for visual defects that may affect proper function.
