6.2.2 Replacing the media bags
The following work must be carried out to replace the media bags:
1. Open the system cover.
2. All old media bags can be removed from the housing using the carrying handles.
3. Visual inspection of the support plate. It must be ensured that all openings are clear and that the
plate is centred in the housing.
4. Insert the first media bag. Check that the media bag is lying flat and without lumps or bumps in
the housing. The outer edge of the media bag must be in direct contact with the housing wall.
5. After inserting each individual bag, the position must be determined. If necessary, the bag can be
lifted and placed back in the centre. See point 4.
6. Remove any foreign matter on the surface of the media bags.
7. Close the system cover securely.
8. Record the activities carried out in the logbook

age.
6. Inspection and maintenance
The following points must be observed:
Use the GRAF exchange package consisting of three media bags.
Weight 3.57 kg per media bag, total weight of three media bags 10.7 kg
Always replace all three media bags.
Replacing individual media bags is not permitted.
Only undamaged media bags should be used. If in any doubt, please
contact GRAF.
The media bags must not be opened.
No foreign material or other filter media may be put into the media
bags.
