3.7. HPS mode operation
Standard on PS-65 TP2 and optional on PS-50 TP2, the HPS (High Production System) makes
it possible to use the maximum machine capacities without deteriorating ironing quality.
Indeed, in order not to limit productivity to manual infeed capacity, the machine will
automatically manage the infeed, ironing and end of sheet phases, thereby offering the best
Quality/Productivity compromise.
One or the other can be privileged using the 3 following modes:
Turbo (T) = Maximum Productivity - This automatic control mode focuses on
productivity.
Standard (S) - Neutral mode providing good drying/ironing quality while maintaining
good productivity.
Quality (Q) = Maximum Quality - This automatic control mode focuses on Quality.
Infeed speed can also be adjusted to production staff for more ergonomics and more
quality. This speed can be set in the configuration menu (only available if the HPS option is
activated). See section 3.4.3.
HPS mode is not compatible with folding machine mode.

The operating mode can be changed (Manual, AUTO or folder if equipped) as well as HPS
mode at all times simply by pressing required mode on the screen.
HPS mode also gives access to temporary statistics on the screen (Number of items and hourly
production) which are reset at each programme start or manually (see section 3.4.4).
