Cause
Lack of power supply
Clogged primary filter
Clogged vacuum hose
The filter is torn
Inadequate filter
Motor brushes (carbon) worn or broken
Non existent or insufficient grounding

Remedy
Check for power at the socket.
Check the condition of the socket and the cable.
Ask for assistance to be performed by a qualified
manufacturer's technician.
Use the filter shaker (models with manual filter
shaker). Replace it if this is not sufficient.
Check the vacuum hose and clean it.
Replace it with another of identical type.
Replace it with another of a suitable category and
check.
Remove and replace the (carbon) motor brushes.
Check all ground connections. In particular on
the vacuum inlet fitting; replace the hose with an
antistatic hose.
