Daily use
Place different foods in different compartments, as described in the following table:
Storage location
Door compartments
Drawer
Middle cooling shelf
Upper cooling shelf
Refrigerating fresh food
• Do not put warm or steaming foods in the refrigerator.
• Always wrap food or store it in airtight containers. This is especially true for foods
with strong odors.
• Make sure air can circulate freely between foods in the refrigerator.
• Wrap any type of meat in plastic wrap and store it on the shelf, directly above the
vegetable drawer, for a maximum of 2 days.
• Cooked foods can be placed on any of the shelves.
• Store fresh fruits and vegetables in the vegetable drawer.
• Pack butter and cheese in airtight containers, aluminum foil or plastic wrap.
• Store milk bottles or milk cartons in the door compartment only when closed.
• Do not store bananas, onions, potatoes and garlic in the refrigerator.
Defrosting frozen food
Frozen foods can be thawed in one of the refrigerator compartments or at room
temperature before use. Place the frozen food in a tray to catch any condensation that
occurs during thawing.
This refrigerator is not suitable for freezing food.
Food type
Food with natural preservatives, such as jams or juices,
drinks or spices.
Do not put perishable food in the door compartments.
Fruits, herbs and vegetables should be stored separately
in the drawer. Do not store bananas, onions, potatoes and
garlic in the refrigerator.
Dairy products and eggs.
Foods that do not need to be cooked, as well as ready-to-
eat foods, sausages or leftovers.
