Trimming
⇒ Set or check the table inclination as required.
⇒ Switch on the unit.
After switching on, wait until the trimmer disc has reached its nominal speed
(approx. 2 - 3 seconds).
Do not begin trimming beforehand.
⇒ Set the amount of water at the water valve (14).
⇒ Using both hands, secure the model on the trimmer table and carefully press it against the disc.
During short breaks from work, e.g., to examine the grinding result, the unit can remain switched on and
the water supply can be interrupted using aqua stop (24).
⇒ Aqua stop must be opened again when resuming grinding work.
After work has been completed:
⇒ Switch the unit off.
Close the water shut-off valve of the water supply in the case of longer interruptions in work and if
the unit is left unattended (e.g., overnight).
Cleaning / Maintenance
The unit does not contain any internal parts that require maintenance.
Opening the unit is not permitted other than as described below!
⇒ Switch off the unit and disconnect the power plug before cleaning or servicing.
⇒ Close the water shut-off valve of the water supply.
Never clean the unit under running water or immerse in water.
Do not steam clean the housing!
⇒ Only wipe the housing with a damp cloth.
⇒ Open the door locks and remove the trimmer door.
⇒ Clean the trimmer door under running water with a brush or cloth.
⇒ Wipe out the inside of the trimmer with a brush and/or cloth.
⇒ Pull the model table upwards from the ball head at the front edge.
⇒ Clean the model table using a brush as appropriate under running water.
⇒ Unscrew the spray tube (18) backwards on the curved side.
⇒ Place the spray tube in descaling solution overnight.
