9.3 WARRANTY
The warranty covers serious problems that may occur, but not minor deviations such as slight
noise produced by the appliance, as every electrical appliance produces a certain amount of
noise.
Using a fan with screws that have not been tightened or blades damaged by improper cleaning
may result in rocking or excessive noise which cannot be covered by the warranty. Regular care
will prevent similar problems.
Installation
This fan must only be installed by a qualified electrician. An improperly installed fan can be
dangerous to people in the vicinity and costly to repair. In such a case, the warranty is void. This
fan has been designed for indoor use except in rooms with high humidity such as bathrooms,
swimming pools and the like. The manufacturer disclaims any liability in the event of personal
injury or property damage due to improperly installed fan or improper use. If you are unsure,
contact a qualified electrician.
Increased noise perception at night
The warranty does not cover the fact that the fan is more audible during the night when ambient
sounds common during the day are suppressed. In addition, during the night, there may be
fluctuations in the power supply which may manifest themselves in fan noise. This is not an
indication of damage or malfunctioning of the fan.
