Feet zone profile's unthreading and locking in the 4 positions
Feet zone profile's folding
Safety belts' locking and unlocking
If the test gives a positve result the stretcher is ready to use, if not please contact Technical Assistance Service of ME.BER. (see §
7.1.).
To assure a perfect efficiency of the product and best safety conditions, the test must be periodically repeated, as
indicated in the paragraph "maintenance".
4.4. USE INSTRUCTIONS
The stretcher's use concerns the preliminary procedures to adjust and open it then its placement under the patient.
The minimum weight and the ergonomics consent its easy and safe shifting; the folding system permits also a storing with minimum
encumbrance.
If there is a suspicion of spinal, cervical or lumbar traumas for the patient, it is recommended an immediate removal
of the patient on a proper equipment, such as spinal stretcher, removing, if necessary, the stretcher.
ADJUSTEMENT OF THE STRETCHER'S LENGHT
The stretcher's length can be adjusted on 4 different positions, depending on the patient's height. Proceed as the following:
1.
lay the stretcher in horizontal position;
2.
place itself beside the stretcher, near the feet zone profile;
3.
open left and right locking devices (§ 2.2.);
unthread the two feet profiles and adjust in the desired position, considering that the stretcher's length can be adjusted from
4.
1670 to 2010 mm in 4 intervals (fig. 4);
5.
once obtained the desired length close the locking devices previously opened.
Once executed the adjustment, make sure of the correct closing of locking devices checking that the feet profiles
can't be unthreaded
1670 mm
OPENING OF THE STRETCHER
To place the stretcher under the patient without removing him, it is necessary to open the stretcher (fig. 5).
There are several application techniques of the scoop stretcher for example inserting one section at a time under the
patient, or opening the stretcher only by feet side creating a "" and placing the top under the patient's head. Those
applications must be chosen depending on the type of intervention.
If you want to divide it in the two parts (pos. 1); proceed as following:
1.
lay the close stretcher in horizontal position;
2.
place itself at the head side of the stretcher;
