– Draw a straight cutting line on the workpiece.
– Press the button (17) and slowly guide the tool arm
downwards using the handle (18).
– Position the workpiece so that the teeth of the saw blade
line up with the cutting line.
– Hold the workpiece in this position and slowly guide the
tool arm back up.
– Clamp the workpiece.
– Turn on the laser beam using the switch (36).
The laser beam must be flush with the cutting line on the
workpiece along its entire length, even if the tool arm is
guided downwards.
Adjusting the Parallelism: (see figure
– Open the rubber cap (50).
– Turn the set screw (51) with a suitable screwdriver until
the laser beam is parallel to the entire length of the cut-
ting line on the workpiece.
Adjusting the Flush Alignment: (see figure
There is a set screw (52) which is used for adjusting the
flush alignment located under the opening marked "R/L".
– Turn the set screw (52) with the slotted screwdriver
provided until the parallel laser beam is parallel to the en-
tire length of the cutting line on the workpiece.
One rotation anticlockwise moves the laser beam from left to
right; one rotation clockwise moves the laser beam from
right to left.
Adjusting the Lateral Deviation when Moving the Tool
Arm: (see figure
M4)
– Open the rubber cap on the side (53).
– Turn the set screw (54) clockwise using a suitable screw-
driver, if the laser beam moves to the left when the tool
arm moves downwards.
Turn the set screw (54) anticlockwise if the laser beam
moves to the right.
– Check the flush alignment with the cutting line again fol-
lowing adjustment. If necessary, adjust the laser beam
again using the set screw (52).
Aligning the Fine Scale (see figure
– Bring the power tool into the mitre saw work position (see
"Work Position (see figure 
– Turn the saw table (22) to the 0° detent (27). The
lever (26) must be felt to engage in the detent.
Checking:
The 0° mark on the fine scale (46) must correspond to the 0°
mark on the scale (23).
Adjusting:
– Remove the insert plate (24).
– Undo the screw (55) with the slotted screwdriver
provided and align the fine scale along the 0° mark.
– Retighten the screw.
Aligning the Angle Indicator (Vertical) (see figure
