TROUBLE SHOOTING
Problem
Difficult in starting
Low Flow
Stop running suddenly
Stator winding was burned
12
Causes
The voltage is too low
Impeller was clogged
One phase was lost
Stator winding was burned
Too high lift
Strainer was clogged
Impellor is wear
The depth of pump under the water
is too shallow, and air was sucked in
The switch was off or fuse was
burned
Power supply was cut off or one
phase was lost
Impeller was clogged
Stator winding is burned
Grounding wire was incorrectly con-
nected with power supply or pump
lost phase.
Mechanical seal leaked cause phases
or wire windings short-loaded
Impellor was clogged
Repeatedly turn on/off of the pump
in short time or run in dry for too
long time
Pump was over-loaded
Solution
Adjust voltage to 0.9-1.1 times of
rated voltage
Dismantle strainer and pump
casing, move impurity away and
correct clogged position
Check the wire terminal, the
switch and cable
Exchange the windings and repair it
Please use inside its specified
using lift range
Clean away impurity such as
weeds
Change impeller
Adjust the depth
Inspect if the lift and voltage of
power is met to the requirement
and adjust accordingly
Finding out the reason and settle it
Clean the impurity away
Change the windings and repair
Eliminate the troubles. Dismantle
windings and embed it again, van-
ish and bake stator. Or send the
pump to repairing unit.
