Be sure to keep magnetic recording equipment,
tapes, and floppy discs aw ay from the speaker's
opening as the speakers generate a magnetic
field. This magnetic field may affect data stored
on magnetic tapes and discs.
Handling t he headphones
Be sure to remove the headphones before
moving aw ay from the display. If the
headphone cord is pulled aw ay from the display
abruptly, injury or damage may occur.

Display)
Please note that the LCD screen is made w ith
high-precision technology. How ever, black
points or bright points of light (red, blue, or
green) may appear constantly on the LCD
screen, and irregular colored stripes or
brightness may appear on the LCD screen. This
is not a malfunction.

Be sure t o unplug t he pow er cord f rom t he
pow er out let bef ore cleaning your display.
Clean t he LCD screen w it h a sof t clot h. If you
use a glass cleaning liquid, do not use any t ype
of cleaner cont aining an ant i-st at ic solut ion or
similar addit ive as t his may scrat ch t he LCD
screen's coat ing.
Clean t he cabinet , panel, and cont rols f irst
w it h a sof t clot h light ly moist ened w it h a mild
det ergent solut ion, t hen dry off w it h a sof t
clot h. Do not use any t ype of abrasive pad,
scouring pow der, or solvent , such as alcohol or
benzine.
Do not rub, t ouch, or t ap t he surf ace of t he
screen w it h sharp or abrasive it ems such as a
ballpoint pen or screw driver. This t ype of
cont act may result in a scrat ched LCD display
screen.
Not e t hat mat erial det eriorat ion or LCD screen
coat ing degradat ion may occur if t he display is
exposed t o volat ile solvent s such as insect icide,
or if prolonged cont act is maint ained w it h
rubber or vinyl mat erials.

Transport at ion
Disconnect all cables f rom t he display and
grasp t he support and base sect ions of t he
display st and f irmly w it h bot h hands w hen
t ransport ing. If you drop t he display, you may
be injured or t he display may be damaged.
The back panel is designed t o come off ; do not
lif t t he display by it s back panel alone.
When you t ransport t his display f or repair or
shipment , use t he original cart on and packing
mat erials.
Disposal of t he display
Do not dispose of t his display w it h general
household w ast e.
The LCD cont ains a small amount of liquid
cryst al and mercury. The f luorescent t ube used
in t his display also cont ains mercury. Follow
your local ordinances and regulat ions f or
disposal.
