Glucose: Interferences
Paracetamol, ascorbic acid (vitamin C), uric acid and other reducing
substances (when occurring in normal blood or normal therapeutic
high concentrations in blood may cause inaccurate high results.
The Xylose was higher than 10 mg/dL in the glucose concentration
interval 50 to 100 mg/dL. After conduction dose-response testing
for Xylose, the maximum interferent concentration in the interval
was calculated as 9.69 mg/dL.

Glucose: User Performance Evaluation
samples obtained by 100 lay persons showed the following results:
100 % within ±15 mg/dL of the medical laboratory values at
glucose concentrations below 100 mg/dL, and 100 % within ±15
% of the medical laboratory values at glucose concentrations at or
above 100 mg/dL.
NOTE: Additional information about Performance Characteristics (Packed Cell
Value data, Interferents table) are reported in the GlucoMen
Day METER 2K
