REPLACE CONTROL BOX
Follow pressure relief procedure before attempting to serviceor repair unit.
1. If trouble shoo�ng guide suggests replacing the control box follow the direc�ons
below.
2. Remove 6 screws #1 and remove cover plate #2, Diagram C.
3. Unthread transducer #19, Diagram C, from pump housing #9, Diagram A.
4. Disconnect motor leads from circuit board. See Diagram "D/E"
5. Remove 3 mounting screws #17 Diagram C. Unthread the filter housing for easier access.
6. Remove control box containing circuit board, On/Off switch and poten�ometer.
7. Replace in reverse order. Note: Removing motor housing will make it easier to
install control box.
REPLACE POTENTIOMETER
Follow pressure relief procedure before attempting to serviceor repair unit.
If trouble shoo�ng guide suggests replacing the poten�ometer follow the direc�ons below.
1. Remove 6 screws #1 and remove the control box cover #2 Diagram C.
2. Disconnect the leads from poten�ometer #11 to circuit board and remove knob #15 on Diagram C.
3. Replace in reverse order.
REPLACE TRANSDUCER
Follow pressure relief procedure before attempting to serviceor repair unit.
If trouble shoo�ng guide suggests replacing the transducer follow the direc�ons
below.
1. Remove 6 screws #1 and remove control box cover #2 in Diagram C.
2. Unplug the transducer wire (gray) and posi�ve and nega�ve motor leads (red & black) from the
circuit board on Diagram D/E
3. Loosen transducer nut with a ¾" open end wrench and slide transducer out of the back of the
pump housing. Use a pair of needle nose pliers to hold the transducer while loosening the nut.
4. Remove 3 screws #17. Diagram C Make sure to firmly hold control box in place.
5. Gently remove the control box while feeding the red and black motor wires through the grommet
#16 on Diagram C. Remove transducer by guiding the wires through the circuit board and out the
back of control box.
6. Install the new transducer by sliding the wire through the grommet #20 and con�nue through the
circuit board. Diagram C
7. Feed the red and black motor leads back through the grommet #16 and through to the front of the
circuit board.
8. Place the control box back in place and insert the three screws #17 and �ghten. Diagram C
9. Insert the transducer back into the back of the pump housing making sure the two o-rings are in
place. Begin threading the transducer nut by hand. When you are ready to �ghten the transducer
nut, use a small pair of pliers to hold the transducer to avoid damage to the transducer.
10. Reconnect transducer wire and the red and black motor leads to the circuit board. Diagram D/E
11. Replace the control box cover and �ghten all 6 screws.
