Configure "RS232" Connection (YDP30
Only)
The "RS232" connection can be configured in 2 configuration
options (see Chapter "13 .5 Connections and Connection
Adjustment Options (YDP30 Only)", page 24) . The feed button
is used to carry out the configuration .
Requirements
The device is ready for use .
Procedure
Switch off the device .
t
Switch on the device again .
t
Once the initial printout has printed: Press the feed button
t
within the next 3 seconds . This starts the configuration
mode .
A configuration routine is started, the configuration options
y
are printed . The following data is printed:
Configuration options
SETUP SERIAL PORT:
PRESS KEY: XXXXBdYZZ
WAIT 5s: no change
If you want to select the printed configuration option: Press
t
the feed button within the next 5 seconds .
If the configuration option is not selected: The next
y
configuration option will be printed in the configuration
routine .
If the configuration option is not selected again: The
y
configuration routine will be canceled: The notification [no
changes made/EXIT SETUP/print settings] will be printed .
The device's configuration data will be printed (see

Chapter "7 .6 .1 Check the Configuration Data of the Device",
page 19) .
