Other clamping area where extra
clamping force and stress (due do
torque reaction or extra stress from the
operator in use) can lower performance
and liability.
To select as secondary clamping area or
as last option with extra care.
In-line nutrunners:
When handled by an operator or embedded
on a robot with high dynamics, it is advised to
select two clamping locations instead of one (see
"Figure E", page 11).
Dedicated clamping area for torque
reaction.
Preferred clamping area.
Other clamping areas useful as
secondary clamping. Do not use these
areas for torque reaction. Extra clamping
force and stress can lower performance
and liability.
Clamping on the motor shall be selected
as last option with extra care.
Front start accessory
The In line tool range up to EID44-1200 is
supplied in CVI3 with an additional trigger at
the front of the tool. The tool is also supplied
with a protective cover to put in place if the tool
generates too much heat in use (see "Figure F",
page 11).
This accessory is made to work as a security
device for the operator when using an open
crowfoot tool. You should select then the right
mode in CVI CONFIG software and set it up as
a "AND" to enable the start of the tool when both
triggers (A) and (D) are activated.
To get this accessory embedded on another kind
of tool, please refer to your sales representative.
Trigger locker accessory
The CVI3 hand tool range can be used like a
fixtured spindle triggered by an external start.
The external start can be a remote pushbutton or
a PLC output signal. But it is then mandatory to
use the accessory 6153978420 to lock the tool
trigger (A) into position. In such mode the reverse
button(C) can be enabled/disabled by selecting
the option in CVI CONFIG software (see "Figure
G", page 11).
Control and software
Power supply by means of CVI3 controller with
the appropriate embedded program version.
LUBRICATION
Do not apply too much grease on gears or
bearings; a thin coat shall be sufficient. Apply
a minimum quantity of grease for easier
