INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
Use of the baby carrier
POSITION: Baby carried on your chest. Buckle with belt at the back/knot at the front
Fig. 1 Position the belt making sure that the buckle fastener is at the back.
Fig. 2 Set the correct height to adjust the belt according to the baby' s age (see age/weight chart).
Fig. 3 Fasten the buckle behind your back until you hear the lock click into place.
Fig. 4 Make sure that the belt is firmly fastened around your waist (at the bottom of your back) and that it does not move when you
walk.
Fig. 5 Now position the baby. Hold the baby against your chest with one hand while handling the wrap with your other hand.
Separate the top part of the wrap fabric and pull it up to cover one of your shoulders while holding your baby with the other arm.
Fig. 6 Swap your hands over as you bring the other end of the wrap up to the opposite shoulder while still holding the baby against
your chest with your other arm.
Fig. 7 Now, on your back, 1 pull the two ends of the wrap firmly downwards tightening the fabric and 2 bring them forward to
the front to knot, below your navel.
Fig. 8 Before knotting the ends, check that the fabric has gone under both of the baby' s legs.
Fig. 9 The knot of the wrap made with the fabric should be at the end of the baby' s back (V-shape).
Fig. 10 Take care to tie the knot correctly. You need to tie a double knot by intertwining each end of the wrap.
Fig. 11 How to tie the knot: Turn your hand over your wrist and put your hand through the hole. Pull the ends apart to form the
first knot. Repeat the same process to form another knot on top of the first one. NOTE: Make sure that the double knot is always
under the end of the baby' s spine.
Fig. 12 Check that the fabric does not restrict the movement of the baby' s limbs. Pay attention to the correct way to pass the ends
of the wrap forward; always under the baby' s legs and never over them.
Fig. 13 Check that your baby is in the "frog" or "M" position (Front View).
Fig. 14 To check that your baby is held securely in this position, lean forward and make sure that your baby stays firmly against
your body and that the baby' s face is clear to allow for correct breathing.
Fig. 15 While the baby is unable to hold their head upright (under 4 months old) they should be carried in the nest version. This
means that the baby' s head will be supported by one of the straps of the wrap.
How to get the baby out of the Wrap from the carried on your chest position.
Fig. 16 First untie the double knot of the wrap at the front of your tummy.
Fig. 17 Lower one end of the baby carrying wrap from one of your shoulders, holding the baby firmly.
Fig. 18 Then lower the other side from the other shoulder. Keep hold of the baby firmly at all times.
Fig. 19 Now with the wrap hanging around your waist, you can take the baby out and place them in a safe place.
Fig. 20 Then you can take the baby carrier off by unfastening the buckle on your back.
