A) Speed adjustment
• The speed adjustment knob allows you to pre-select the scooter speed.
• Turn the knob in a clockwise direction to increase the speed.
• Turn the knob in an anti-clockwise direction to reduce the speed.
• It is advisable to select a speed at which you feel safe, comfortable and in control of your
scooter.
B) Key
• The key serves to switch the scooter on and off.
• Insert the key.
• Turn the key through 90° in a clockwise direction to switch on the scooter. It will beep and
the needle on the battery indicator will move to indicate that the scooter is switched on.
• Return the key to the vertical position to switch off the scooter.
NOTE:
Always remove the key before getting off the scooter and before lowering the handlebar.
C) Horn
• Press this button to sound the horn.
D) Control lever
• This allows the scooter to be used with one hand only.
• It controls the forward and reverse speed.
DRIVING
• to drive forwards:
- use the fingers of your right hand to pull back the accelerator lever on the right;
- use your left thumb to push the accelerator lever on the left.
NOTE:
Always bring the scooter to a complete stop before changing direction from forward
to reverse or from reverse to forward.
• to drive in reverse:
- use the fingers of your left hand to pull back the accelerator lever on the left;
- use your right thumb to push the accelerator lever on the right.
NOTE:
When the accelerator control lever is completely released, it returns automatically to
the central stop position and activates the scooter brakes, bringing the scooter to a complete
stop. You will hear a "click" when the brake is on.
E) Battery indicator
• Indicates the available battery level.
• GREEN: fully charged.
• YELLOW: care must be taken because the battery is at half charge.
• RED: the battery is at less than half charge.
11.2 Steering adjustment
The adjustment knob can be used to slope the handlebar at different angles.
Follow the instructions for adjustment:
1. Grip the handlebar with one hand;
2. Use the other hand to turn the adjustment knob;
3. Position the handlebar in the desired position;
4. Tighten the adjustment knob.
