The trigger-type lock is used to avoid accidental pressing of the hydraulic control
lever. To trigger the hydraulic control lever, pull the trigger backwards with your
index finger before pushing the hydraulic control lever forward.
Never force the unit for more than 5 seconds to maintain pressure on
splitting wood that is too hard.
After this time, the pressurized oil will overheat and the machine may be damaged.
For such an extremely hard log, rotate it by 90° to see if it can be split in a different
direction. In any case, if the log cannot be split, this means that its hardness is
beyond the capacity of the machine and therefore should not be split to protect the
machine from damage.
Always place the logs firmly on the clamping plates and the worktable. Make sure
the logs will not twist, sway or slip during splitting. Do not force the blade to split
the log at the top. This will break the blade or damage the machine.
Do not put logs across the unit. This can be dangerous and can seriously damage the
machine.
