4 Operating instructions
4.1 Before starting
4.1.1 Grounding the unit
– Place the unit outdoors.
– Use wire (no less than 2.5mm²) to connect the unit
and grounding terminal to the ground.
– Press one end of the wire below the butterfly nut
of the unit and screw tightly. Connect the other
end to the earth rod and insert it into the soil.
4.1.2 Filling oil
– Remove the oil filler cap.
– Top up till the upper oil level (A) with the
recommended engine oil. Use a funnel for the
filling.

– Reinstall and tighten the oil filler cap.
In case of spilling oil, clean the
ground thoroughly to avoid slipping.

4.1.3 Refuelling
– Open the fuel tank cap and top up with gasoline.
– The fuel gauge will display the level of gas in the
fuel tank.
– Tighten the fuel tank securely after refuelling.
The maximum fuel level must not
exceed the inner strainer of the tank
(A) when refuelling.

Keep away from sources of fire and
heat when refuelling. Do not fill the
fuel tank when the unit is operating.
Only use unleaded gasoline. The use
of leaded gasoline will cause severe
damage to internal engine parts.
