• Always use new batteries of the same type. Never use old and
new batteries together.
• Pay attention to the polarity (+/–) when inserting the batter-
ies.
• There is a risk of explosion if batteries are replaced incorrect-
ly! Only replace batteries with those of the same or an equiva-
lent type.
• Never try to recharge non-rechargeable batteries. Risk of ex-
plosion!
• Never expose the batteries to excessive heat (such as direct
sunlight, fire or similar).
• Store batteries in a cool, dry place. Strong direct heat can
damage batteries. Do not expose the device to sources of in-
tense heat.
• Never short-circuit batteries.
• Never throw batteries into a fire.
• Remove leaking batteries from the device immediately. Clean
the contacts before inserting new batteries. Battery acid can
cause chemical burns!
• Always remove flat batteries from the device.
• If the device is not going to be used for long periods, remove
the batteries.
