TO REDUCE THE RISK OF INJURY TO PERSONS
Grounding
DANGER
Electric shock hazard: Contact with certain internal
components can result in serious injury or death.
Do not dismantle the furnace.
WARNING
Electric shock hazard: Improper grounding can
result in electric shock. Do not plug in the appliance
until it is properly installed and grounded.
CLEANING
• Make sure that the furnace is disconnected from
the mains.
• Clean the inside of the oven with a slightly damp
cloth after use.
• Clean the accessories as usual in water with
detergent.
• The door frame, gasket and nearby parts should
be carefully wiped with a damp cloth when
required.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING OVERHEATING
During long start-ups, especially of foods with low water content (e.g. several bags of popcorn)
the energy inside the appliance builds up and can cause overheating of the internal
components, so when very high temperatures are reached the oven is designed to switch off
automatically to prevent damage to the user and prolong the life of the appliance, the
appliance will restart once it has come down to a safe temperature.
SAFETY AGAINST OVERHEATING
This appliance must be installed with a ground. In
the event of a short circuit, grounding reduces the
risk of electric shock by helping the overload to
escape through the power cord. This oven is
equipped with a power cord with a plug and a
grounding plug. The plug must be inserted into an
outlet that is properly installed and grounded.
Consult a qualified electrician if you do not fully
understand the grounding instructions or if you are
in any doubt as to how the appliance can be proper-
ly grounded. If an extension cord is necessary, use
only a three-wire extension cord with an electrical
outlet.
1. A short power cord is provided to reduce the risk
of entanglement or snagging.
2. If a multi-contact or extension cord is used:
1) The electrical ratings of the adapters must be
equal to the electrical ratings of the furnace.
2) The extension must be of the 3-wire grounded
type.
3) The extension should be positioned so that it is
not above the table or deck, so that it cannot be
pulled by children or inadvertently snagged.
