Installation, commissioning and maintenance

Before starting your work, switch off the mains
switch or automatic circuit breakers and
ensure that the appliance cannot start up by
accident.
The appliance must be installed in accordance
with the laws and requirements of your coun-
try.
All local regulations and the regulations relating
to national and European standards must be
observed when installing the appliance.
After the heat exchanger has been connected
to the heating system, the heat exchanger
must be taken to operating pressure and
checked for leaks.
Inform the user about the operation, use and
protection of the appliance.

Product description
The heat exchanger is fitted, directly or with a fitting
piece, on top of the fireplace and is intended to be
used to supplement an existing central heating sys-
tem. The hot flue gases from the fireplace flow
through the heat exchanger and heat water that is pum-
ped to a buffer tank. After the heat exchanger, the flue
gases are routed to the chimney as soon as possible.
The heat exchanger is also suitable for supplying hot
water with a permissible supply temperature up to
100°C.
An insulating cover is put around the heat exchanger
and the fireplace to insulate the installation.
The appliance conforms to the European standard EN
13229. The heat exchanger is made form quality steel
S235JR to the European standard EN 10025 and the
connections comply with DIN 2458/1626.
