3. Pumped liquids
Warning
Do not use the pump for
flammable liquids, such
as diesel oil and petrol.
4. Radio communication
The radio part of this product
is a class 1 device and can be
used anywhere in the EU
member states without
restrictions.
Intended use
This product incorporates a
radio for remote control.
Only Grundfos-approved
external antennas may be
connected to this product, and
only by a Grundfos-approved
installer.
5. Installation
5.1 Safety symbols on the pump
Observe the position of
the clamp before the
clamp is tightened.
Incorrect position of the
clamp will cause
leakage from the pump
and damage the
hydraulic parts in the
pump head.
Fit and tighten the
screw holding the
clamp to 8 Nm ± 1 Nm.
Note: Do not apply
more torque than
specified even though
water is dripping from
the clamp. The water
(condensed) is most
likely coming from the
drain hole under the
clamp.
5.2 Changing the control box position
Warning
Risk of escaping
vapour.
Warning
Observe local
regulations setting
limits for manual lifting
or handling.
Warning
Before dismantling the
pump or related parts,
drain the system and
close the isolating
valves on both sides of
the pump as the
pumped liquid may be
scalding hot and under
high pressure.
Warning
When loosening the
clamp, do not drop the
pump head.
