OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
NOTICE: Ensure that flat surfaces of the inner and outer washers are flat against the saw
wheel.
To install an 8-inch (203mm) wheel
The saw needs to be prepared to accept an 8" (203mm) wheel.
a. Loosen the two screws (P) with a T20 Torx screwdriver (not included).
b. Push the wheel adapter back.
c.
The two screws (P) will snap into the threaded holes at the front (Fig. 5c).
d. Tighten the two screws (P).
e. Reverse the steps above when using a standard, 7-inch wheel.
6. To Install the Wheel Guard
a. Remove the battery pack and slide the sliding
table (B) aside.
b. Rotate the splash hood installation locking
lever (O) about 120 degrees clockwise to
unlock.
c.
Install the L-shaped wheel guard bracket into
the groove behind the wheel.
d. Rotate the splash hood installation locking
lever (O) about 90 degrees counterclockwise to
lock.
e. To lift or lower the splash hood or adjust its
position, loosen the height locking knob (N),
position the wheel guard (C) at the desired
height, and retighten the height locking knob.
NOTICE: Always position the guard (C) horizontally
parallel to the sliding table (B) and slightly above
tile thickness. The wheel guard should not touch
the tile.
Riving knife adjustment
a. Remove the battery pack and slide the sliding
table (B) aside.
b. Use a T20 torx screwdriver (not included) to
loosen the two riving knife adjustment screws
(Fig. 6b).
c.
Adjust the riving knife base to align the riving
knife with the cutting wheel.
d. Tighten the two riving knife adjustment screws.
