7. Rip Fence Installation
a. Remove the battery pack.
b. To install the rip fence (D), place it on the
sliding table (B).
c. Align the two pins on the rip fence with the two
holes on the sliding table and press down.
d. Depress the rip fence locking knob (G), then
rotate it clockwise to lock the rip fence on the
sliding table.
e. Depress the rip fence locking knob (G), then
rotate it counterclockwise to unlock the rip
fence and remove it from the sliding table.
NOTE: If adjustment of the rip fence is required
to ensure that it is perfectly perpendicular to the
cutting wheel, loosen the side set screw with a
3mm hex key (not included),and then rotate and adjust the top set screw so that the pin with
eccentric wheel will force the rip fence to rotate by a small degree to be perpendicular to the
cutting wheel. After adjustment, tighten the side set screw to secure the top set screw.
8. Miter Guide Installation and Adjustment
a. Remove the battery pack.
b. Make sure the rip fence (D) is properly installed
as described in "Rip Fence Installation" earlier.
c. Open the miter guide locking clamp (H).
d. Slide miter guide (K) onto the rip fence (D). The
raised points on both sides of the miter guide
are used to align the scale.
e. Secure the miter guide (K) in place by
depressing the miter guide locking clamp (H).
f. To adjust the miter angle, loosen the miter
guide knob (L) by rotating it counterclockwise,
position the miter guide at the desired angle.
Angle adjustment range is 0°-45°.
g. Lock the angle by rotating miter guide knob (L)
clockwise.
h. When storing the miter guide, the angle of the
miter guide must be rotated to 22.5°. Open the
miter guide locking clamp (H), and then secure
the miter guide (K) in place.
NOTE: The locking force of the miter guide is
adjustable by using a 2mm hex key (not included)
to adjust the two screws on the miter guide.
