2 SPECIFICATIONS OF THE APPLIANCE
2.1 RECOMMENDATIONS FOR USE
The OS-140P osmosis unit is an appliance for the treatment of drinking water and can modify and reduce
saline content. As a result, the organoleptic and chemical characteristics of the treated water may be
modified.
It can be installed in homes and catering establishments (hotels, restaurants and cafeterias).
The appliance can be used to supply osmotized water to industrial dishwashers and coffee appliances in
catering establishments.
2.2 PROHIBITIONS
IT IS STRICTLY FORBIDDEN to use the appliance to treat non-potable water.
IT IS STRICTLY FORBIDDEN to use the appliance if it has not been maintained on a regular
basis as described in section 5.2 of this manual.
IT IS STRICTLY FORBIDDEN to use the appliance in poor hygienic conditions or in places
that do not conform to those specified in this manual.
IT IS STRICTLY FORBIDDEN to supply the appliance with wastewater, seawater or water
that does not meet the corresponding potability parameters.
The appliance may be used by children under 8 years of age and by persons with reduced
physical, sensory or mental abilities or lack of experience or knowledge as long as said
persons use the appliance under supervision or have been given instructions to ensure safe
use and understand the hazards involved.
