OPERATION
4.1
START-UP OF THE APPLIANCE
4.2
NORMAL USE
The appliance must remain switched on at all times.
The appliance will filter water each time the dishwasher fills the washing tank or when rinsing is performed.
The appliance will open the inlet valve automatically every 6 hours to rinse the osmotic membranes; this is
necessary to keep the membranes in good condition. This process will take 2 minutes.
4.3 MIX
The mix valve is fitted on the back of the appliance and makes it possible to change the salinity of the
product water: it uses the filtered water taken immediately after the pump and mixes it with the permeate

water.
BYPASS emergency function: this valve makes it possible to divert the water flow, preventing water from
flowing through the osmotic membranes in the event of breakdown or emergency. To activate the bypass, see
section 4.8.
4.4
MINIMUM PRESSURE ALARM
In case of insufficient inlet pressure, the appliance will automatically stop and beep three times. At the same
time, an error message will be shown on the control panel display. After one minute, the appliance will turn
on automatically. After restarting, the system will ignore the low pressure switch signal for 20 seconds. In the
case of consecutive pressure alarms, the delay of the automatic ignition will gradually increase after each
alarm.
4.5
FLOOD ALARM
The appliance has two sensors to protect the internal components from possible flooding. When the sensor
detects humidity inside, the appliance emits a long beep and stops automatically. To turn the appliance on,
disconnect and reconnect the power plug while holding down the + button. When the alarm is reset, the
control panel will beep three times.
The appliance must be started up by an approved installer and its correct functioning
must be checked.
Before starting the osmosis unit, rinse the newly installed pre-filter:
a.Turn on the osmosis unit supply stopcock.
b. Position the discharge valve near a drain or use a large container (approx.
25 litres).
c. Open the discharge valve and let out approximately 20 litres. Then close the
discharge valve.
Insert the plug into a grounded 230V 50Hz socket. Now the appliance is ready to be
started up. Two filling and emptying cycles of the dishwasher tank are recommended
to remove the substances used to conserve the reverse osmosis membrane.
Check the hydraulic circuit for leaks.
Please note that it will be necessary to wait approx. 5 minutes to perform the initial
filling of the expansion vessel supplied with the osmosis unit.
Never close the stopcock that supplies water to the osmosis unit, as this may cause the
osmotic membranes to dehydrate irreparably and jeopardize the correct functioning of
the appliance.
