APPLIANCE MAINTENANCE
5.1
MAINTENANCE PERSONNEL QUALIFICATION
Maintenance personnel must be familiar with this instruction manual, duly qualified for this type of
maintenance and meet the following requirements:
- Have sufficient technical knowledge to understand the contents of the manual.
- Know the basic rules for health, safety and technology.
- Have detailed knowledge of the osmosis unit, as well as the electrical and/or hydraulic problems
that may occur where the appliance is installed.
5.2
EMPLOYEES' DUTIES
The maintenance plan given in this paragraph must be implemented according to the schedule described
below in order to keep the appliance running efficiently and ensure the quality of the filtered water.

The following operations must be performed by qualified personnel in accordance with
the requirements given below. The maintenance tasks must be documented and signed by
the persons who performed them in the space provided in the enclosed logbook.
It is advisable to perform the maintenance overhaul at least once every 6 months, even if
the filter life limit has not been reached.
This appliance requires regular maintenance to ensure the potability of the treated
water.

Before opening the appliance, remove the cover and/or panels and/or protective grills
and make sure that the power cord is disconnected.
Do not use aggressive cleaning agents, steel wool or steel brushes to clean the unit. Do
not wash the appliance with high-pressure water or direct jets.
