USE OF THE REFRIGERATOR COMPARTMENT
s
etting the temperature
The temperature selection button (thermostat) is located on the inside, top right of your
refrigerator.
Turn the thermostat button clockwise: the appliance starts up automatically.
Setting "1" is the highest available temperature, i.e. the hottest setting.
Setting "7" is the lowest available temperature, i.e. the coldest setting.
•
To optimise food preservation, set the thermostat to "4". This setting ensures
that fresh food is properly stored.
•
If you want to cool fresh foods quickly or the first time you use your refrigerator,
choose the "7" setting, making sure that the temperature in the refrigeration zone
does not drop below 0°C. In this case, set the thermostat to "4" again.
•
The temperature inside the appliance is a function of several factors, such as the
room temperature, the quantity of food stored, the frequency of the door opening,
etc.
•
The "OFF" setting corresponds to the "shut-down" position of the appliance. To
completely shut down the refrigerator, unplug it from the mains power.
•
Note: When the thermostat is set to "7", you may hear the compressor running
more evenly.
Notes:
•
If the appliance is unplugged, switched off or, in the event of a power failure, wait
for 3 to 5 minutes before restarting the appliance. Do not attempt to turn it on
again before this time has elapsed as the refrigerator will not start up again.
•
It is best to install the appliance in the coolest part of the room to reduce energy
