TROUBLESHOOTING
Proper cleaning, maintenance and the use of clean, dry, quality fuel will prevent common operational
problems. The following troubleshooting tips may be helpful when your HALO Prime300 Countertop Pellet
Grill is not operating as it should.
ERROR MESSAGE ON CONTROLLER DISPLAY
You may see an error message displayed on your control panel. Please refer to the following chart for
potential issues and how to resolve them:

SOLUTION:
This will occur if the temperature of the grill falls below the factory allowable
factory temperature setting, causing the grill to go into shutdown mode. To fix,
remove any pellets from the burn pot and make sure the hopper is full of pellets.
Turn the controller off and then on again and restart your grill. If the problem
persists, call Consumer Service.
Turn the controller OFF and then ON again and restart your grill. If the
problem persists, call Consumer Service.
This error will occur when the temperature in the grill exceeds the allowable
factory temperature setting. Let the grill cool, then turn OFF the grill. Clear out
any remaining pellets from the burn pot and restart your grill. If the problem
persists, call Consumer Service.
Unplug A/C adaptor and wait 3-5 minutes for the igniter to cool down, and
restart your pellet grill. If the problem persists, the igniter will need to be
replaced. Call Consumer Service.
If this error code appears when using the battery to power the grill, the battery
may not have enough charge to power the auger motor. Plug in the A/C adapter
and restart the unit. If the error code does not reappear, the unit is functioning
properly. If error code persists, call consumer services.
Check the connection underneath the hopper for the RTD cable. If it is tight,
RTD sensor will need to be replaced. Call Consumer Service.
Press and hold the Controller Dial to turn OFF and then ON again and
restart your grill. If the problem persists, call Consumer Service.
