Instructions for use
WARNING! Metal parts and housing can be hot after use. Do not touch them, as it may cause severe burns. Allow product ele-
ments to cool down. Use gloves that protect against high temperatures if you need to move them before they cool down.
Make sure that the fl oor near the place of use of the product is not slippery. This will prevent slipping, which can cause serious
injuries.
Do not place too much grain in the popping chamber. A measuring cup is included with the product. It should be used to measure
the amount of grain. Other measuring cups may also be used, but they must indicate the level of grains poured from the meas-
uring cup attached to the product. Pouring too much grain will overheat the appliance and may cause fi re and/or electric shock.
Always use the appliance with a correctly mounted chute. Hot maize grains can be thrown away at high speed during roasting.
The chute reduces the risk of contact with such grain.
Allow the appliance to cool down completely before removing the chute. Hot maize grains can be thrown away with delay.
The chamber is designed for roasting only the maize grains alone. Do not add fat, oil, butter, salt, syrups or any other additives to
the grains. The additives can lead to damage to the appliance or cause fi re and/or electric shock.
Do not use roasted corn intended for microwave preparation, even after pouring the grains out of the bag. Maize intended for mi-
crowave ovens is packed in bags with additives facilitating roasting in microwave ovens and cannot be used in the popcorn maker.
Always unplug the power cord plug from the socket after use. Do not store the appliance plugged into a socket.
PRODUCT OPERATION
Installation, start-up and operation of the product
The product must be unpacked and all parts of the packaging completely removed. It is recommended to keep the packaging, as
it can be helpful for further transport and storage of the product.
Clean the product according to the instructions specifi ed in the "Product maintenance" section.
Place the appliance according to the instructions for installing it.
Place a container under the opening in the chute. It is best to keep the edge of the container as close as possible to the bottom
edge of the opening (II). If a full measuring cup is roasted, a container with a capacity of approx. 2 - 2.5 litres will be needed.
Prepare the maize grains for roasting. The maximum amount of grains that can be placed in the chamber at a time must not be
greater than the upper edge of the measuring cup (III).
Place the grains in the popping chamber (IV).
Attach the chute, the bottom edge of the chute should be based on the whole length (except for the opening) on the edge of the
base (V).
Make sure that the appliance is switched off and the switch is in the position – O.
Plug the power cord plug into the socket. The fan operation will be heard immediately after connection.
Switch the appliance on by moving the switch to the on position – I.
After about 3 minutes, the eff ects of roasting the maize will appear. The roasted grains will escape through the opening in the
chute into the pre-prepared container.
Wait until the sound of the opening of the maize grains can no longer be heard.
Switch the appliance off by moving the switch to the off position – O.
Pull the power cord plug from the socket. Allow the appliance to cool down completely, remove the chute and empty the grains
that did not roast from the chamber.
Perform maintenance works of the appliance.
WARNING! During and immediately after operation: the housing and metal parts heat up to a high temperature. Caution must be
maintained. Contact with hot product parts can lead to severe burns.
During maize roasting, grains that did not roast can be thrown away. Do not catch them with an unprotected hand as they may be
hot. Do not put such thrown grains back into the popping chamber.
Not all grains from a portion poured into the chamber will be roasted. This is a normal phenomenon.
If you want to roast more than one measuring cup of grains, it is recommended to wait a few minutes after fi nishing roasting the
previous portion. If the appliance has not cooled down completely during this time, use the opening in the upper wall of the chute
to pour the grains into the popping chamber (VI).
Product maintenance
CAUTION! All maintenance works must be carried out with the product switched off . To do this, unplug the power cord plug
from the socket.
CAUTION! Never immerse the product in water or any other liquid. The product cannot be cleaned under running water, high-pres-
sure water jet or in a dishwasher.
CAUTION! Allow all parts of the product to cool down completely before carrying out maintenance work.
Before fi rst use and after each use, wipe the inside of the popping chamber with a damp cloth and then dry or allow to dry.
