CONNECTION
1.
Connect the power cord (34) to a household outlet and connect the speaker wires to the speaker terminal (31)
located on the rear of the unit.
2.
Press ON/STANDBY (7) to switch the unit on and set the function selector (10) to TUNER. The LCD display (2)
lights up blue. Your system is ready to play.
RADIO
Manual Tuning
1. Set the function selector (10) to TUNER and select the desired band (AM, FM or FM Stereo) with the band selector
(23).
2. Turn the tuning knob (20) to tune into the desire station; the frequency is displayed on the LCD display (2).
3. Adjust the volume (3) to the desired level.
FM and FM Stereo
Set the band selector (23) to FM position to receive radio stations in mono mode. Use this setting if the reception is
weak.
Set the band selector (23) to FM-ST position for receiving stereo programs. The FM-ST indicator (17) lights up.
Hints For Best Reception:

AM: The receiver has a built-in ferrite antenna. If AM reception is weak, slightly rotate or reposition the unit for best
reception.

FM: The receiver has a build-in FM wire antenna (33) at the rear. Unwind the antenna for best reception.
TURNTABLE
First steps

Remove the stylus protector.

Be sure that the tone arm is being detached from the tone arm rest before
operating and secure again after use.
1.
Set the function selector (10) to PHONO position.
2.
Set the speed selector (29) to the proper position according to the type of record to be played.
3.
Place the record on the platter (use the spindle adaptor (28), if required).
4.
Lift the tone arm from the pick-up rest (30) and slowly move it towards the record. The platter
will start rotating.
5.
Place the tone arm in the desired position on the record.
6.
Adjust the volume (3) to the desired level.
7.
At the end of the record the turntable platter will automatically stop rotating. Lift the tone arm
from the record and return it to the pick-up rest (30).
8.
To stop during playback, carefully lift up the tone arm and return it to the tone arm rest (30).
Please note: For some records the auto-stop area is out of reach. In this case set the AutoStop switch (32) at the rear of
the unit to OFF position. To stop the turntable rotating set the AutoStop switch (32) back to ON position. Now lift up the
tone arm and return it to the tone arm rest (30).
CD Player
Getting Started
1.
Set the function selector (10) to CD position.
2.
Press
(22) to open the CD drive (16).
3.
Insert a CD into the drive with the label up and close the drive.
4.
The LCD display (2) shows the total number of tracks and the playback time.
Play/Pause
1. Press
(21) to start playback, the first track will start.
2. Press
(21) once to pause playback, the playback time flashes on the LCD display (2). Press again to resume
normal playback.
