Antifreeze Tester for Ethylene and Glycol Solutions
ATTENTION
Read the operating instructions and all safety instructions contained
therein carefully before using the product. Use the product correctly, with
care and only according to the intended purpose. Non-compliance of the
safety instructions may lead to damage, personal injury and to termination
of the warranty. Keep these instructions in a safe and dry location for
future reference. Enclose the operating instructions when handing over the
product to third parties.
INTENDED USE
This product is used to test the antifreeze effectiveness of radiator
antifreeze based on ethylene and glycol solutions. The tester works with
hot and cold fluids. Its transparent casing allows for simultaneous visual
inspection of the liquids being tested for rust and dirt.
SAFETY INFORMATIONS

Keep children and other persons away from the working area.
•
Do not allow children to play with this product or its packaging.
•
Do not use the product if it is damaged.
•
Use the tool for the intended purpose only.
•
Be careful when working on hot engines because of the risk of burn injuries!
•
Coolant is under high pressure when hot.
•
Do not open the radiator cap as long as the coolant might still be heated up..
USE
1. Let the cooling system cool down.
2. Carefully open the radiator cap.
3. Dip the hose (F) of the antifreeze tester into the coolant
and squeeze and release the rubber (A).
4. The fluid level should be at the mark (C) when checking.
5. When checking the antifreeze effectiveness, position
the tip of the pointer (B) in the center of the crosshair.
Accurate positioning can be achieved by tilting the
antifreeze tester sideways.
6. If the pointer (B) is in the center of the crosshair, use the
pointer (E) to determine the antifreeze effectiveness on
the scale (D).
