ASSEMBLY

Remove the grill and any packaging materials from the shipping carton.

Place the Grill on a flat, level surface.

Rotate the Torsion Bar to the position shown in Figure 2. Please rotate
the Torsion Bar during first use. (See Figure 1 and Figure 2)

Pull out the left and right locking tabs and rotate the tabs fully
anticlockwise, see Figures 3 & 4. This will release the lid locking
mechanism.

Lift up the lid and pull down the left and right lid support brackets from
the magnetic catch. Locate the end of each lid support bracket into the
slots in the grill base. See Figure 6

Lift off the grill plate and place to one side. Remove the regulator
assembly and drip tray from the grill base see Figure 11. Replace the
grill plate.

The angle of the grill can be adjusted depending on the type of food
being cooked. The horizontal position is used for grilling vegetables and
the tilting position is for grilling meat. The grill can be adjusted from the
horizontal position (high) to the tilting position (low) by pulling out the left
and right locking tabs and rotating them fully clockwise. The grill can be
returned to the horizontal position by pulling out the locking tabs and
rotating them fully anticlockwise

The grill plate can be used either side up depending on the cooking

effect required. One side has a ribbed surface and the other side has a
smooth surface. In both orientations, the grill plate must be positioned
so that its locating pegs slot into the two holes at the front of the grill
base.
