To remove the inner ring of the clutch proceed as follows:
- Fit the extraction bush (2) (see fig. 4).
- Fit the plate (1) onto the clutch by fixing it to the clutch housing with the four bolts (4), and applying
the set screw (3) (see fig. 5).
- Use a torque wrench like BETA 605E and rotate the screw head clockwise, applying a maximum force
of 5 Nm, doing so lower the elastic ring (see fig. 6).
Warning: avoid compressing excessively to avoid damaging the clutch and gearbox.
Compress only what is necessary until the safety ring is released.
- Remove the plate and the pressure screw, once this is done you can remove the safety ring.
- Fit the bushing 5 and the tools 9 and 10 using the mounting studs closest to the hole circled in figure 7,
fixing them with the tightening nuts (4).
