Selecting the number of rings

The number of rings can be set to 3 (default setting) or 6.

To alter the number of rings:

[1]. Disconnect the system's power supply.

[2]. Short-circuit terminals "LB" and "GND" on the terminal

block (79) of the interior hand-set.

[3]. Reconnect the system's power supply, checking the

number of beeps emitted: 1 beep is emitted for 3 rings

and 2 for 6 rings.

[4]. Disconnect the system's power supply then remove the short-circuit between

terminals "LB" and "GND".

[5]. Reconnect the system's power supply.

Note: every time this operation is performed, the number of ring tones is switched

between the values 3 and 6.

Push button for a remote ring tone

It is possible to connect an independent push button enabling the ring tone on the monitors

to ring with a diﬀerent tune from that used for calls from an external module.

4.2 Answering / hanging up

To accept a call, either from an external module or a monitor, simply li the wired hand-

set.

The buttons operate diﬀerently depending on the condition of the wired hand-set.
